    Working Together

Quantum Labs has a big problem with bugs. No, not the type you call an exterminator to remedy. These pests are computer software bugs called Bug-O-Mytes and they are causing the lab’s computers to be, well… buggy! Gears is offended that instead of asking him, Miss Tina asked Rodney from the IT department to get rid of the bugs. Gears says he has a hardware solution, while Rodney says he has a software fix. Miss Tina saves the day with a Bible story about Nehemiah and how the Israelites worked together to rebuild Jerusalem’s walls. In this lesson, children learn the importance of working together to accomplish more than they could alone. Because after all—two people are better off than one!

    A Lesson in Patience

In today’s video, Gears can’t wait to unveil his new invention—the Wait-Be-Gone Time-Span Accelerator. Actually, Gears has a hard time waiting for anything! That is exactly what his new invention is supposed to solve. There is big problem, though: the new Time-Span Accelerator doesn’t work, and Gears must wait on a new part to fix it!

Gizmo streams Miss Tina’s Bible story about Abraham and Sarah to Gear’s phone as he impatiently waits for his package at the Post Office. The bots discover that patience is a Fruit of the Spirit that God grows inside us. Even though waiting can be hard, it is often necessary to receive God’s blessings in our lives. In today’s lesson, children will learn the importance of patience: to trust and wait without complaining.

A toy wind-up robot “comes to life” and claims his name is Gizmo! This robot is very different—so different that all the robots can’t possibly be friends… or can they?

Professor Quantum tells Gizmo Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan. This helps the robot to understand how important it is to show love to people even if they are different.

    Learning to Share

Students will learn the importance of sharing.

    Moses and the Burning Bush

Students will learn the importance of having courage.

    Erin Go Bragh

There is a great cloud of witnesses that have gone before us. They are heroes to us who believe, but certainly, they were challenged, afraid, and even persecuted. Let us follow in their brave footsteps, whether in a boat, on foot, or just on social media.

    Deception

What could a little white lie hurt? Your character. So why do we sometimes lie anyway? Do we not care about our character? Sometimes lying is easier than telling the truth.

    Do Not Be Afraid

God is for you, and He loves you with a love that is stronger than your fear.

    Fourth Man

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego are well known for trusting God to have their backs, no matter how much King Nebuchadnezzar turned up the heat. What if we could do that today?

    Ask and You Shall Receive

God wants to give us good gifts. But He also wants a relationship with us. That means He wants us to come to Him and ask for what we want. By doing this, we find out what He wants, as well.

    Temptation

First off, God ABSOLUTELY WILL give you more than you can handle. That’s a common misquote of 1 Corinthians 10:13. But He will NOT give you temptation that is more than you can handle. He ALWAYS gives you a way out of it.

    Sacrifice

Who likes giving things up? You want to keep your things. Sacrifice is the opposite of that. Sound like fun? No. Really, it is just giving up something to get something better. Sounds nicer but still kind of daunting.

    We All Want Grace

Grace: being treated kindly in the face of your misdeeds. It feels great to receive, but it is hard to give. But don’t be too hard on yourself—even great prophets like Jonah have struggled with it.

    Wrestling

If you are going to wrestle someone, you want to pick someone close to your own size, right? Then what’s all this about wrestling with God? That doesn’t sound very smart—or safe!

    Repentance

Repentance is what we need to be saved from our own worldly ways and, ultimately, death.

    Why Lie

Is honesty really the best policy? What about little white lies? Are they okay? In this lesson, we learn why it is so important to be truthful.

    No Comparison

For middle schoolers, it may seem like an impossibly tall order to ask them to stop comparing themselves to others. Everyone asks the question, “Am I good enough?” Good enough for what? Good enough to be worthy of love and admiration. The answer has to be, "You have God’s love. What else do you need?"

    Jesus in the Boat

This lesson looks at Jesus calming the storm. Jesus wakes up, calms the storm, and knocks his disciples’ lack of faith. When you go through storms in your own life, do you have Jesus in your boat? If so, have you asked Him to calm the storm, or are you afraid to wake Him up?

    Pride

Pride: a subtle, subversive, spiritually-deadly problem. And it’s not just for other people anymore... Ironically, the more sure you are that it's not something you need to worry about, the more likely you are to be suffering from it.

    In the Beginning

Learn that God is loving and forgiving, and He has a wonderful plan for the future. When Chris disobeys his dad and sneaks into the lab, he finds that yielding to temptation can cause disastrous consequences! Explore the beauty of God’s creation in the Garden of Eden, and discover how Adam and Eve bring sin into the world through disobedience.
